Becoming an A.R.K. Community (Acts of Random Kindness)

John 13:34-35

^?34? I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. ^?35? By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

1 John 4:

^19? We love^? because he first loved us. ^?20? Those who say, “I love God,” and hate their brothers or sisters,^? are liars; for those who do not love a brother or sister^? whom they have seen, cannot love God whom they have not seen. ^?21? The commandment we have from him is this: those who love God must love their brothers and sisters^? also.

People contact creates people!  One of our strategies is doing Acts of Random Kindness in the community!  The culture is such that they don’t expect acts of love for the sake of love.   We have often forget as Christians that love is best expressed when we do it to those who don’t expect it.   We will be doing group ARK events scattered throughout each month and people can also do their own individual ARK actions.
